Truck Parts is in The Eye of The Beholder

truck parts

Performance parts industry, people tend to use parts and accessories of the words interchangeably, while others see the difference. So what is the difference, for example, between truck parts and truck accessories if many of them serve the same basic function? Depending on who you ask.

Because word parts and accessories each encompass a large number of products that overlap and can therefore be classified, people tend to use the words interchangeably without distinction. In fact, when it comes to performance parts industry, said cover in some cases, and even then, there are differences of opinion regarding the factors that effect.

Parts and accessories for trucks each have their own list of included products, which 'meet in the middle "according to their intended use and categorization as an OEM or aftermarket product.

A truck parts advisor, for example, I can say that part of the truck has a more general definition, and includes everything from repair, maintenance and restoration, interior and exterior repairs. These products may include oil filters, air filters, shock absorbers, spoilers, fog or because, in fact, part of the truck

Such is the original part of the " truck ', or even a replacement or repair, can be described as a game when a replacement vehicle that was created to increase after the initial purchase tends to fall into the category of accessories.

At the same time, equal parts advisor can say that the word is synonymous with the word accessory parts that refer to the product in general, but the brand and the specific use of the product will determine the category.

Car covers, sun visors specifically to address and these products are primarily used to improve the car or truck (such as lift kits) may be considered only accessories. A rack can fall or SUV.

Even the oil filter, brake pads and rotors, or air filter can be divided into two categories. OEM version of the standard is generally considered to be part of a truck then more likely to be perceived as truck accessories (such as K & N oil filter, which is derived from an alternative version based on the last performance advantages of advanced filtration technology, you will not find any OEM standard counterpart).

A lift kit, which is not something that comes with the truck, but is used as a repair is generally considered as an accessory, although some still call it a party truck.

The articles tend to be specifically classified as accessories are aftermarket products to improve (performance or aesthetics). For example, replacement of air filters, safety covers high quality and floor mats for truck accessories usually considered if not genuine OEM parts.

This problem becomes more bleak once you get into making accessories accessory OEM vs. aftermarket parts or even after the purchase, but it is an entirely different article.

In the end, the difference between the two will always vary from person to person, even among fans and industry professionals repair or truck performance parts.

" Truck Part remains to be tailored to the type of truck "
