If you are in the market for a truck because you need a pick-up ... you will try and need something harder and wider than an SUV, it's important to look at the security model of competition. Truck vehicle warranty covers four aspects: 

a basic warranty (which covers almost everything on the truck in early life), Training (internal components are often high ticket item to be replaced), rust (not just car) and buses (which means that someone will help you if your battery dies in the middle of nowhere or you run out of gas).

We compared four popular truck in relation to each component warranty covers: Dodge Dakota, Toyota Tacoma, Isuzu i-370 and Ford Ranger. This is what we found:

Basic warranty. Three years or up to 36,000 miles coverage is the industry standard and includes the average rent, so the four candidates with reliable Dakota, Ranger, Tacoma and forth in s. Rust. Now this does not mean much unless you live in the country where the station may be less friendly to your car, or if you tend to do a lot of city driving on salted roads in winter. If any of these situations occur, oxidation prevention should be a priority.
